My name is Disha Mann. I am currently studying Bachelors of Cybersecurity (S334) at Deakin University, Burwood Campus, Melbourne. I am an international student from India.  My hobbies include reading books, participating in sports like swimming and roller-skating, and cooking!

I chose Information Technology( I.T.) as my career field because I love technology and I am passionate about it! I love learning about new technologies that are being evolved almost everyday. This makes IT a challenging and ever-growing and expanding field. I want to build a career that presents me with new challenges and opportunities to keep learning and increasing my knowledge and skill-base. I wish to improve and refine my technical skills and digital literacy and choosing a career in IT would help me achieve my goal. Building a career in cyber-security would give me the chance to develop skills that I wish to master like intrusion and malware detection, programming know-how and risk analysis and mitigation.

I aspire to work as an Information Security Analyst,Security Consultant, or Cryptographer after completing my graduate degree. I wish to collect the required and related experience for these jobs through internships as IT security consultants and analysts for small-scale firms and agencies. This would help me gain expertise in my chosen field.
